AltsOps is a two-day event, one private markets focused, one hedge funds focused, which is designed to provide alternative investment firm CEOs, COOs and middle and back office professionals with a forum to hear about the latest developments in the operational due diligence arena from leading investors and service providers. Brian Tsai was the COO/CFO for multi-billion dollar hedge fund firms before going to work for himself as an outsourced CFO. During this fireside chat, Tsai will offer his views on when and what to outsource, and why, as well as some ‘war stories’ from his 20+ year career. Tsai has been in ODD meetings since 2006 and will offer his views on how best to work with Allocators, citing specific examples and case studies. He will also share his views on outsourcing.
