A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO) is AlphaWeek's charity partner and a NYC-based non-profit organization working in the developing world, bringing free orthopedic care to children with limb disabilities whose families cannot afford treatment. We provide high-quality continuous care until the age of 21 for all patients treated under ALTSO’s programs. Since 2003, we've provided free prosthetic limbs, appropriately fitted wheelchairs, and orthotic devices to more than 18,000 children throughout Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Mobility provides access to education, future employment, and the chance to live self-sufficiently.
